General Miletic visiting China
SAF CHOD General Miloje Miletic met today during an official visit to China with the CHOD of the People’s Liberations Army of China, General Chen Bingde in Beijing today. Both generals discussed the achieved level of cooperation between the two armies in the field of defense and other possibilities for promoting military cooperation. On that occasion, general Miletic acquainted his Chinese counterpart with the ongoing reforms of the defense system in Serbia.
General Miletic will also meet with the Chinese defense minister General Liang Guanglie.Later on, during the visit to the PRC, the SAF delegation will visit the Chinese air force aviation base, the Command College of the Chiense Land Forces and several Chinese defense industry companies.
Cooperation in defense with t People’s Republic of China has had a long tradition, and as of 2000 has been on a constant rise, especially in terms of military educational and military medical cooperation. The Cooperation Agreement was signed during defense minister Dragan Sutanovac’s visit to China in November 2008.
