Military technical cooperation between Ukraine and Serbia
In order to maintain the Second Session of the Joint Serb-Ukrainian Commission for the military-technical cooperation the Ukrainian delegation visited the Mod in the period from 26 to 28 April.
On that occasion, the guests from Ukraine visited the Air Force Institute "Moma Stanojlovic", Military Technical Institute and TRZ Kragujevac. Talks were also conducted in the defense industry company "Yugoimport" SDPR which was attended besides the representatives of the said company, by representatives of the Serbian defense industry in general. The Ukrainian delegation was acquainted with the capabilities of this company, the projects and work completed so far, there was talk of the projects that have been offered as well as joint emergence on the markets.
The plenary sessions, chaired Serbian State Secretary of Defense for Material Resources Ilija Pilipovic and Deputy Defence Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Omeljjancuk Prokopovic was held on 28 April. At the meeting both sides presented the current situation, informed each other about the prospects for the maintenance systems of arms and military equipment in the future, as well as scientific-research activities and opportunities to establish cooperation between the military and scientific institutions of Ukraine and the Republic of Serbia. At the meeting, among the permanent members of the Commission, there were representatives and experts in military technical cooperation.
At the meeting both sides confirmed the mutual desire for further development and improvement of military-technical cooperation between the Republic of Serbia, and Ukraine to mutual benefit.
