Cooperation with Turkey
Bilateral military-defense consultations between the defense ministries of Serbia and Turkey were held in Ankara, Turkey, on 26 April.
The Head of the International Military Cooperation Department Milorad Peric and the Head of the Turkish MoD Strategic Planning Department Major General Tahir Bekiroglu signed a Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan for 2011.The defense cooperation with Turkey is very well developed and has been improved in continuity, where the dominant fields of cooperation include participation in joint special forces exercises, military economy, education and training.
The delegation of the Serbian MoD also visited the Turkish defense industry Asensan where the delegation was given a presentation of the latest Asensan products in military equipment.
