Guard performs exercir along with the Guard representative orchestra

On the occasion of the anniversary of Novi Pazar - five and a half centuries of its existence, are now in the town square, in the presence of hundreds of citizens, members of the Serbian Army Guard performed attractive exercir – demonstration with guns, and Representative Guard orchestra played traditional marches and works by local authors. The Guard members performed exercir under the command of Captain Mirko Mitric, a Guard Band performed under the baton of Lieutenant Alexander Djuric.

The ceremony at the city square in Novi Pazar was attended by Mayor Dr. Meho Mahmutovic and others, Guard Commander Colonel Milos Todorovic and the commander of the 28th mechanized battalion LTC George Belic.

After exercir and concerts, Mayor Meho Mahmutovic said that the Guard made this celebration Novi Pazar more festive.

I thank the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Army which has showed great understanding for the Novi Pazar, not only today, but are always there to solve infrastructure problems and help us with the hiring of professional soldiers - said Mahmutovic and particularly pointed out "that the Serbian Army has friends among the citizens of Novi Pazar.
