SAF members engaged in "Let's clean Serbia"campaign



The campaign of cleaning the riverbed and the river South Morava under the title "Let’s clean Serbia" is being performed in the territory of Vranje, Bujanovac, Vladicin Han, Leskovac and Aleksinac.

The campaign was attended by the Minister of Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic, who on that occasion, stressed that ugly picture of Serbia has become the past and that is why today, more than 2,000 people came to clean the South Morava River.

"I express heartfelt thanks to everyone who has participated in the campaign, especially the Army of Serbia. Our goal is to take get rid of the waste that accumulated in Serbia, as minister Dulic said.

Head of the Group for Civil-Military Cooperation in the 4th Brigade of the Army, Lt. Col. Goran Stankovic said that members of the Brigade and the Vranje Garrison by participating in the campaign Let’s clean Serbia "have contributed significantly to making Serbia cleaner and more beautiful.

I the clean up of the South Morava River, from the Zlakopaca to Vranjska spa, besides engaging more than 150 officers and soldiers, motor vehicles, assault boats, water tanks and engineering tool have also been engaged. The River flotilla made sure that the campaign went down safely.
