Expert talks on strategic documents
As part of the Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan signed with the USA in the Strategic Planning Department of the defense Policy Sector, expert talks with the US Army War College were held in the period from 29 to 31st March regarding the strategic documents in the systems of security and defense.The delegation of the MoD was headed by the Chief of the Staretgic Planning department Major General Bozidar Forca along with the representatives of the International Military Cooperation Department, the Department for Doctrine and training (J-7) and the SAF GS Joint Operations Command.
The US Army war Colege three-member delegation was headed by Professor Phil Evans.
The talks focused on sharing the views and experiences on the contents, ways of adopting and passing strategic documents in the domains of security and defense.The American delegation gave acquainted the members of the Serbian MoD and SAF GS thoroughly with their own national Strategy of Defense and Security while also demonstrating in practice the ways of implementing this strategy in practice using the US Army as an example.
Both sides agreed that the discussion were fruitful and beneficial to both sides, and that cooperation should be continued in the future.
