Promenade concert of the Guard Representative Orchestra



In the celebration of National Day and the Day of the Serbian Armed Forces, the Guard Representative Orchestra gave a street parade concert in Knez Mihailova Street. The repertoire included marches were the solemn and rendering of known compositions.

"The March of King Aleksander Obrenovic" opened the parade, and the sounds of Serbian folk songs and marches alternated with St. Louis Blues, and Dixie parade.

Many citizens, especially the youngest, enthusiastically followed the Guard Band to the Republic Square, where they completed a promenade performance of the composition "March towards the Drina."

During the concert the cadets of the Military Academy were distributing promotional materials on occasion of the military exercise “Usce 2011”, which will be presented at Usce to mark the 15th February - On the Serbian Army.
