Musical festival of the nations in Bremen
In the German city of Bremen the 47th music festival of the nations which with ten military bands from nine countries participating in the event was opened on 27 January . The festival, which lasted from 27 to 30 January, featured members of the Representative of the Serbian Army Guard Orchestra. The concert was attended by the Serbian Ambassador in Berlin, Professor Ivo Viskovic and Consul of the Republic of Serbia Vojislav Dragisic in Hamburg. Ambassador Viskovic congratulated the musicians on their remarkable performance and stressed the importance of participation in such events.
The event has a long tradition and is one of the most important festivals of military orchestras in Europe. The festival also has a humanitarian character, and is held under the motto "Labouring for Peace."
