UN expresses gratitude for SAF and MoD's contribution to UN missions
UN Under-Secretary-General for Field Support Suzanne Malcorra sent a letter of commendation to express her gratitude to the Serbian government for the SAF and MoD’s medical team support to the UN missions in the Central African republic and Chad (MINURCAT) and other peace missions under UN auspices.The letter reads as follows:
”I have the honour to refer to the contribution by the Government of Serbia to the United Nations Mission in the Central African Republic and Chad (MINURCAT). I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Government for its continued support to this and other United Nations peacekeeping operations."
"In this regard, the decision by the Government of the Republic of Serbia to provide personnel, equipment and services for a Medical Team for MINURCAT has contributed significantly to the United Nations' mandate in the Central African Republic and Chad"
