Stanislav Binicki ensemble gave a New Year concert
The Symphony Orchestra of the Ministry of Defence "Stanislav Binicki" performed on Saturday evening, 26 December, with the choir of Radio Television Serbia, on New Year's opera gala concert with famous soloists who have performed this year at Milano La Scala and the Opera in Rome and Paris.Giorgio Kasari, the famous Italian tenor, Suzanne Suvakovic-Savic, soprano and David Bizic, baritone, performed the most beautiful opera arias from Puccini, Verdi, Donizetti, Bizet and Mozart under the baton of conductor Dejan Savic.
At the concert in the packed hall of the Sava Center venue Defense Minister, Dragan Sutanovac and Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen Miletic Miloje with with members of their staff attended the concert.At tonight's concert the audience was delighted, Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence "Stanislav Bini?ki" presented itself in the best light, and thus ended a successful year, with numerous performances in Belgrade and in Serbia. The ensemble has recorded two compact discs, the first with Merima Njegomir, and the other being military marches and folk reels.
