Major Drazen (Mladen) Pozar is suspected of having participated in an event in which two men were killed and two others wounded last night, 14 December 2010 around midnight, in front of the motel, ''Sremska noc” at Pukovnika Milenko Pavlovic Street in Batajnica.
According to the first unofficial information, the conflict came after a dispute over unpaid bills and physical attacks on Drazen Pozar. Major Pozar, who owns the motel "Sremska noc” informed police of the events immediately.
Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia under the authority of the investigating judge are conducting investigation. The investigation is ongoing.
In order to fully inform the public, we point out that Major Drazen Pozar was never a member of the Military Intelligence Agency but has worked in the former Centre for training of staff of military security services. After the dissolution of the Centre he was assigned to the second Brigade of the Army in Kraljevo in January 2010. From then on she has been on sick leave. Major Pozar also in May this year filed a request for termination of professional military service.
Drazen Pozar was born on 1 September 1971 in Sarajevo, Bosnia, and has been serving in the army of Serbia as of 29 July 1995.
