Informing of foreign defense attaches
In the House of Guards in Topcider, a regular briefing of foreign military representatives was held today.The Head of the International Military Cooperation Department Milorad Peric with Ministry of Defence, commented on that occasion, that in the year behind us was marked by lively international cooperation.
The meeting at the Topcider was also an occasion for the first official address of the Secretary of State Tanja Miscevic to oreign military attachés. It was on this occasion said that the sense of responsibility the position to which he was appointed, and expressed its satisfaction as the first woman Secretary of State in the Ministry of Defence.
During the presentation, Peric pointed out the most important results of the Ministry of Defence in 2010, these being the guidelines that would be crucial in future work. He particularly emphasized the completion of strategic documents and laws that regulate important issues in the field of defense, completing the process of professionalization of the army, as well as the most important aspects of defense reform in the past. In addition, successful bilateral cooperation marked by the high-level visits and the signing of more than 40 international military cooperation agreements was singled out as one of the greatest accomplishments of MoD.At the same time, Peric pointed out the priorities of the international military cooperation plan for next year.
