Ambassador of Portugal holds a briefing



Ambassador of the Republic of Portugal H.E. Mr. Luis Almeida de Sampaio held a briefing in the Defense Policy Sector on occasion of recently held NATO summit in Lisbon where a new strategic concept of the Alliance was adopted.

During the briefing he presented questions considered in the Summit, such as building NATO capabilities and reforms of the NATO, for the purpose of becoming more effective and promoting cooperation with partners especially with the EU and Russia, as well as further involvement of the NATO in Afghanistan.
