Meeting of the Bilateral Committee for Military-Economic Cooperation
The second meeting of the Bilateral Committee for Military-Economic Cooperation of Serbia with Italy was held today in the Military Technical Institute. The committee was chaired by Assistant Minister for Material Resources Ilija Pilipovic and Secretary General of Defense and the National Director for the Armament of the Italian Forces LTGEN Biaggio Abrate.The topic was the consideration of other possibilities for cooperation in areas of mutual interest, especially as regards the modernization of the air force weapons and the cooperation of defense industries.
As part of the visit general Abrate was received by the State Secretary Zoran Jeftic, PhD.Both sides agreed that the bilateral cooperation was good with room to enlarge it.
