Secretary Vesic in Kraljevo

State Secretary in the Ministry of Defence Zoran Vesi? visited today the second Brigade of the Army in Kraljevo, in order to get an insight into the scale of the damage to buildings after last week's earthquake. The delegation of the Ministry of Defense included the Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Dragan Radulovic, head of the military health care department Brigadier General Veljko Todorovic and the Head of the MMA Major General Miodrag Jevtic.

On that occasion, the representatives of the Ministry visited the garrison infirmary, which, given the scope of damage, is no longer operational, so that health care for more than 9,000 beneficiaries of the military health insurance in Kraljevo is currently relocated to the medical ward at the barracks in Ribnica.

The Medical Department has been granted aid in the form of an ECG machine and a biochemical analyzer. It was also agreed that starting Monday a surgery, internal medicine and psychiatry specialists are to be sent to the second brigade’s health service, to provide military assistance to the military health insurance beneficiaries and other citizens of Kraljevo.

During the visit they discussed the necessity of urgent reconstruction of damaged facilities. The rehabilitation works on the clinic have already been initiated. In the next few months it is expected that this medical facility will be fully operational and able to provide medical care to all military health care insurance beneficiaries.
