Delegation of foreign DAs visit the Guard
The delegation of foreign DA visited the Guard yesterday. The commander in chief of the guard Brig. Gen. Goran Radovanovic acquainted the DAs with the establishment, tradition and the competences and tasks of the Guard units.The distinguished guests visited the Guard memorial room, and also visited several parts of the Dedinje barracks where they got more familiar with the life and work of the members of the Guard.
The DAs also saw a segment of the training process, with the members of guard performing a drill in controlling a check point and three possible situations.
The exhibition of the representative vehicles of the guar drew the attention of the high ranking visitors as these vehicles were once used to transport high dignitaries in the former Yugoslavia along with the vehicles used today for the dignitaries of the serbian MoD and the Republic of Serbia.
The most attractive part of the visit was the performance of the Guard orchestra and of the ceremonious battalion which performed an xeric on the occasion.At the end of the visit, the Guard command demonstrated a decision-making process in case of natural disasters.
Colonel Milomir Todorovic, Deputy Commander of the Guard was presented with a gift and recognition on behalf of the Association of Foreign Defense Attaches.
