Press release
The Ministry of Defence hereby informs the public of its decision to terminate its joint production contract with the Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) for the television programme Dozvolite… due to the public broadcaster’s non-compliance with the established Protocol on Cooperation.
In recent months, the Ministry of Defence has repeatedly notified the Radio Television of Serbia of the latter's failure to meet contractual obligations, seeking to remedy these breaches of contract and establish the conditions necessary for the continuation of our cooperation. Despite the Ministry’s readiness to continue the cooperation, RTS has failed to make any progress in fulfilling its obligations. As a result, the Ministry of Defence has made a decision to terminate the contract.
Given that the terms for this joint project were defined under the Agreement and the Protocol on Cooperation between the Zastava Film Military Film Centre and the Radio Television of Serbia, the termination of said Agreement formally ended the cooperation on November 5, 2026. The Ministry of Defence withholds its consent for the Radio Television of Serbia to film or produce any new episodes of the programme, or to use the logo, emblem, or any other insignia of the Ministry of Defence, the Serbian Armed Forces, or their respective organisational units. Furthermore, RTS may not credit any personnel of the Ministry of Defence or the Serbian Armed Forces as authors, co-authors, or contributors to the creation, production, or implementation of the programme, or imply any ongoing participation, affiliation or contribution of the Zastava Film Military Film Centre to the Dozvolite… programme.
The Ministry of Defence extends its gratitude to the honourable, responsible, and professional RTS staff who contributed to the successful production of the series for years, keeping the public informed about the activities of defence personnel and the Serbian Armed Forces.
The Ministry of Defence remains open to cooperation with all media organisations on other projects aimed at informing the public, popularizing the Serbian Armed Forces, and promoting the military profession and tradition.
