Recruitment competitions for Serbian Armed Forces’ special operations units
The Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces invite young men and women who wish to put their knowledge, strength and patriotism at the service of their country to apply for recruitment into the 72nd Special Operations Brigade and the 63rd Parachute Brigade.
Applications are open from 1 to 30 November 2026. Applicants must be citizens of the Republic of Serbia, hold at least a secondary school qualification and meet the general and specific eligibility requirements.Candidates who submit a complete application by the deadline will undergo medical examinations, psychological assessment, physical fitness test and security vetting, followed by basic and selection training.
The most successful candidates will have the opportunity to enter professional military service under a six-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extending their employment contract for a definite or an indefinite period of time.Members of the 63rd Parachute Brigade will be stationed in Niš, while those assigned to the 72nd Special Operations Brigade will be stationed in Pančevo.
