Reconnaissance units successfully complete summer training cycle

In line with their annual training programme, Army reconnaissance units have completed several months of summer training away from their peacetime bases, upgrading their proficiency in the execution of specialized missions.
During the training, scouts carried out a wide range of field activities on both land and water, sharpening the skills needed to safely approach combat zones and successfully execute missions within their assigned AOR.

The units executed tactical missions in various environments, practising water crossing techniques, close combat, and wilderness survival skills. They also practised using newly fielded surveillance devices and systems, significantly enhancing their observation and intelligence-gathering and processing capabilities.
This year’s training cycle concluded with tactical training in a water environment. Scouts practised driving landing craft, building rafts, and completing different tactical tasks based on a specific scenario.

Serbian Armed Forces’ reconnaissance units conduct training throughout the year in all terrains and conditions in which scouts can be deployed to ensure a high level of proficiency and combat readiness.
