Tank units conduct live-fire tactical exercise
Members of a tank battalion from the 4th Army Brigade have successfully conducted a tactical exercise featuring live-fire drills with M-84 tanks at the Pasuljanske Livade training ground. The exercise was designed to assess the unit’s tactical and firing proficiency in executing offensive operations.
The exercise was preceded by tactical drills conducted in coordination with the brigade’s other units, as well as preparatory and instructional live-fire sessions. The activities at the training ground began in early October and are the culmination of several months of intensive training.Tank platoon commander, Lieutenant Vladimir Vozarević, has pointed out that the tactical live-fire exercise involving a tank company in an offensive role is the culmination of this month’s training at the Pasuljanske Livade range.
He urged young people interested in serving with tank units to apply for the current recruitment call for tank gunner and driver positions within the Army of the Serbian Armed Forces. Speaking about service in tank units, he emphasised the importance of the team and positive interpersonal relationships.Army Commander Major General Zoran Nasković observed a portion of the training activities, verifying the tank crews’ proficiency in executing their assigned tasks.
Tactical exercises and live-fire drills are conducted under various conditions throughout the year to maintain and enhance tank crew proficiency and unit readiness.
