Minister Gašić visits Sloboda Čačak defence company
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić today visited Sloboda AD, a defence company based in Čačak.

During the visit, a meeting was held with the company's General Manager, Zoran Stefanović, and the management, where Minister Gašić was updated on the company’s recent performance and future plans.
After the meeting, they toured the company’s facilities, including the medium and large-calibre shell case manufacturing plant, the mechanical cutting facility, the “Artillery” facility, and the specialized “Large-Calibre (76mm to 155mm) Ammunition Assembly” facility.
During the tour, Minister Gašić spoke with factory workers about production specifics and their daily operations. He emphasised the vital importance of their specialist knowledge and experience to the company’s future growth.- Behind Sloboda’s success there are people whose hard work and responsible attitude toward their duties form the foundation of its operations. Their experience and competence form the basis for the factory's future development, as well as for modernising the Serbian Armed Forces with domestically produced weapons and military equipment. We want our factories to enhance their capabilities, improve production, and meet the increasingly complex demands of the defence system. Therefore, Sloboda’s progress is important not only for the company and its employees, but for our country's manufacturing self-sufficiency – the Minister of Defence said.
Minister Gašić was accompanied on today’s tour by the Acting Assistant Minister for Material Resources, Nenad Miloradović.
