Norwegian and Serbian xperts on budget and financing meet
A two-day meeting of experts from Serbia and Norway ob financing and budgeting in defense ministries started today in the Multimedia hall of the Material Resources Sector of MoD in Belgrade.Assistant Defense Minister for Budget and Finances Srbislav Cvejic welcomed on this occasion a three-day delegation of the Kingdom of Norway stressing the importance of this subject to the Ministry of Defense.
-With respect to last year’s meeting, we did a systematization of all work positions, transformed financial services and formed a Budget and Financing Sector which comprises three sections, which resulted in better organization in MoD in terms of functioning and a more rational use of budgetary funds.
The Norwegian delegation is made up of the Norwegian MoD section for budgeting Morten Rongmo, commander Christian Crocas and advisor Hanna Hanson.- This is our seventh visit to Belgrade and I hope that our stay in Serbia will prove as a big step towards gaining experiences in terms of budgetary planning in Mod, while we should stress the importance of our minister’s visit early this week to Oslo, which improves the overall relations of the two states.
