Military police conducts intensive activities as part of Exercise Victor 2026

Military police units are currently carrying out intensive activities at the Serbian Armed Forces’ training areas and outside their home stations as part of the final phase of the Joint Tactical Live-Fire Exercise Victor 2026.
Military police units from all components of the Serbian Armed Forces are participating in the exercise, with the aim of assessing and further enhancing their capability to prepare and conduct combat and non-combat activities in counter-sabotage operations. They are carrying out their missions using modern weapons and military equipment recently fielded to these units.

In accordance with the exercise scenario, military police units have conducted a march to the deployment area after an alert had been issued, and are now conducting tactical drills and live-firings. By carrying out complex tactical missions, they are perfecting procedures such as area control, cordon and search, and envelopment and elimination of enemy sabotage groups.  They are also practising active and passive measures against remotely piloted aircraft, medical evacuation, conducting investigations, and counter-sabotage searches.
Units deployed at the Međa training area were visited today by the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović. He observed a tactical exercise involving live-firing, where military police squads demonstrated their proficiency in conducting area and facility searches, establishing an inner cordon and neutralising infiltrated sabotage-terrorist groups.

General Mojsilović spoke with soldiers and officers, congratulating them on their performance during the live firing and commending their excellent tactics and proficiency on newly introduced weapons and military equipment. He emphasised that investment in military police capabilities would continue, in order to ensure their readiness to respond to contemporary security threats.
The Joint Tactical Live-Fire Exercise Victor 2026 began in late August and will run until October 4. Activities carried out so far have confirmed a high level of proficiency, readiness and professionalism of Serbian Armed Forces personnel, as well as their capability to use new and modernised weapons and systems efficiently.
