Join Serbian Armed Forces tank units
The Serbian Armed Forces have announced a competition to recruit professional soldiers into tank units, offering young people the opportunity to build a professional career serving their homeland, embracing the responsibility and honour that the military profession carries.
Job advertisements for M-84 and T-72MS tank gunner and driver positions are open until October 31. Interested candidates may apply for positions in the tank units of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Army Brigades, as well as in the T-72M Tank Battalion. Duty stations are located in Vranje, Kraljevo, Niš and Sremska Mitrovica.
Citizens of the Republic of Serbia up to the age of 35 are eligible to apply, regardless of whether they have completed military service with arms or not. Selected candidates will be admitted to professional military service as professional soldiers for a six-month period, with the possibility of extending the employment contract for three years, followed by an opportunity to sign an indefinite-term contract.
Tank unit personnel have the opportunity to improve their knowledge and skills continuously, while future tank crew members will also work with modernised tanks.Professional military service offers secure employment, reduced years of service for retirement, military health insurance for Serbian Armed Forces personnel and their family members, as well as opportunities for advancement and career development. Members of tank units are entitled to increased earnings amounting to 20 percent of their monthly salary.
