Minister Gašić visits “Prvi Partizan” in Užice
Today, Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić visited “Prvi Partizan”, a defence industry company based in Užice, where he met with the company’s management to discuss business, investment, and production enhancement plans.
During the meeting, Director General Dobrosav Antić and the company’s management briefed the Minister of Defence on the company’s performance in the recent period and its overall capabilities. They also discussed the possibilities of enhancing the company’s production processes.Emphasising the significance of “Prvi Partizan”, Minister Gašić said that domestic defence industry companies played a vital role in strengthening the defence system and developing Serbian economy.
- Our goal is to ensure that defence industry companies continue to develop through investments and development projects, to invest in modern technologies and to increase their capacity. Investing in domestic production means investing in knowledge, people and the economic stability of our country – Minister Gašić said, highlighting the need to further strengthen the defence industry in terms of technology, so that it can meet the demands of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.
The meeting was also attended by the Acting Assistant Minister for Material Resources, Nenad Miloradović, PhD.
