Minister Gašić visits “Milan Blagojević – Namenska”



Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić today visited “Milan Blagojević – Namenska”, a defence industry company based in Lučani.
He held a meeting with Predrag Ilić, Director General at “Milan Blagojević-Namenska”, and the company’s management, during which he was briefed about the company’s performance in the recent period, future development plans and the possibilities of enhancing the factory’s manufacturing capabilities.

As part of the visit, the Minister of Defence toured the facility where materials used in manufacturing combustible components are prepared.
Speaking about future investment in the defence industry, Minister Gašić emphasised the importance of strengthening the factory’s manufacturing capabilities and improving working conditions for the employees.

- Investing in manufacturing capabilities and continuously upgrading them is critical to the development of the domestic defence industry. Today we had the opportunity to see part of the production process and explore the possibilities of enhancing the current capabilities. Particular focus is being placed on improving working conditions for the staff, as their knowledge and experience are critical to preserving and strengthening the capabilities of our defence industry – the Minister of Defence stated.
During today’s tour, Minister Gašić was accompanied by Acting Assistant Minister for Material Resources Nenad Miloradović.
