Serbian Armed Forces units undergo pre-deployment evaluation
Serbian Armed Forces units designated under the Operational Capabilities Concept for deployment in peacekeeping operations have successfully completed a combat readiness and interoperability evaluation, fully meeting the required proficiency standards.
The evaluation included a light infantry company, a general-purpose engineer company, a military police platoon, and a CBRN platoon. Their proficiency was evaluated by an international evaluation team during an exercise held at the South base and the Borovac training ground, as part of the final Level 2 evaluation.During the exercise, the units, in accordance with their designated roles and the established scenario, carried out tactical missions simulating situations they could face in multinational operations. Personnel demonstrated a high level of skill and professionalism in carrying out their duties, confirming their readiness to operate in an international environment.
Prior to this, the units had already been rated as successful in three different exercises, where their operational readiness was assessed by national and international teams. The successful completion of the second level of assessment marked the conclusion of their training and evaluation cycle under the Operational Capabilities Concept, implemented within the framework of the Partnership for Peace Programme.Based on the results achieved, the units will be issued certificates valid for four years, confirming their readiness for deployment in international environments.
