Second phase of Serbian Armed Forces' Joint Exercise Victor 2026
As part of the second stage of the Joint Tactical Live-Fire Exercise Victor 2026, Serbian Armed Forces units are conducting drills in multiple locations, practising the execution of offensive combat operations.
During this phase, the participating units have conducted marches in combat vehicles, moving from their peacetime locations to the mission area, while implementing force protection measures and conducting combat actions under varying conditions and tactical scenarios, both during the day and at night.The emphasis is on establishing a military presence in a specific area, controlling territory, monitoring roads and facilities critical to the operation’s success, and testing procedures for operating within a civilian environment.
The purpose of the exercise activities is to enhance and assess the capability to execute tasks while on the move, as well as the ability to employ newly introduced weaponry and surveillance equipment, which provide Serbian Armed Forces commands and units with new capabilities for situational awareness on the ground and the efficient execution of tasks.Exercise Victor 2026 began in late August and runs until the first week of October. Activities conducted so far have confirmed the high level of skill, readiness, and professionalism of Serbian Armed Forces personnel, as well as their ability to effectively employ new and modernised assets and systems. At the same time, a high degree of coordination and interoperability has been demonstrated in responding to contemporary challenges, risks, and threats to the security of the Republic of Serbia.
