63rd Parachute Brigade units conduct tactical training activities

Units of the 63rd Parachute Brigade participating in the Joint Tactical Live-Fire Exercise Victor 2026 are currently conducting training activities at multiple locations outside their peacetime bases.

Supported by Air Force and Air Defence units, brigade combat teams are carrying out tasks on the move and practising special missions in an offensive operation.
In line with the exercise scenario, unit personnel have been airdropped from aircraft and helicopters to practise tactical procedures for seizing key enemy facilities, artillery fire guidance and reconnaissance.

The paratroopers are using state-of-the-art weaponry and military equipment fielded to the unit in recent years as part of a major procurement cycle aimed at enhancing the capabilities of SAF’s special forces, drawing on the experience gained from contemporary armed conflicts.

Special operations units of the Serbian Armed Forces have been assigned an important role in Exercise Victor 2026 since their flexibility, speed, top training and advanced equipment make them suitable for employment in missions of strategic importance, using the minimum amount of resources.
