Minister Gašić sends message of condolence to Greek Minister of National Defence, Nikolaos Dendias
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić has sent a message of condolence to the Minister of National Defence of the Hellenic Republic, Nikolaos Dendias, following the tragic death of the Greek Air Force pilots. The message reads:
"Dear colleague and friend Nikolaos,
It is with profound sadness that I received the news of the tragic death of the Greek Air Force pilots during the air show held at the Tanagra military base near Athens.
I wish to extend my sincere condolences and those of the members of the Ministry of Defence to the families of the fallen pilots, as well as to the personnel of the Ministry of National Defence and the Armed Forces, and the friendly people of Greece following this tragic event.
The tragedy that took the lives of the pilots serves as a reminder of the daily risks our service members face while carrying out complex and responsible tasks.
In this difficult, painful moment, I want you to know that all members of the Ministry of Defence and the citizens of the Republic of Serbia share in with your grief, that of the families of the deceased, and of the friendly people of Greece.
Deeply confident that the Lord will grant them eternal peace, I kindly ask you to convey our heartfelt sympathies to the families of the fallen pilots.
