Sergeant M. B., who served with the 72nd Special Operations Brigade, was found unresponsive today at around 3 p.m. at the Rastko Nemanjić barracks in Pančevo.
Authorities have arrived on the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death. There are reasonable grounds to believe that the member of the Serbian Armed Forces committed suicide.
The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff has ordered that a commission be formed to determine the cause and circumstances surrounding the incident.
Sergeant M. B. was born on April 25, 2000. He had been serving in the Serbian Armed Forces since 2023.
