Congratulatory message from President Aleksandar Vučić to mark Medical Service Day
The President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces has sent a congratulatory message to all members of the Medical Service on the occasion of their Service Day - July 30. His message reads:
“On the occasion of July 30 – Medical Service Day, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all members of the service and to express my deepest respect and gratitude for your commitment, expertise, and selfless service to the homeland.
Your service represents one of the pillars of the defence system of the Republic of Serbia. Since the very beginning of the Medical Service to the present, generations of military healthcare professionals have built the reputation of a profession that has always been present at the hardest of times, standing by our soldiers and our people, being in the service of life. That is why the history of the Medical Service is at the same time a history of humanity, responsibility, and unconditional commitment.
Today, drawing from the rich experience and achievements of military medical profession, you successfully carry out the most complex tasks in the fields of prevention, treatment, and medical care for members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, as well as the citizens of Serbia. Especially noteworthy was your commitment during the pandemic, when, working under the most challenging conditions, you demonstrated once again the solidarity, competence, and readiness – the greatest values of the medical profession.
By participating in international missions and strengthening cooperation with military medical institutions around the world, while continuously training your personnel and enhancing your capabilities, you worthily represent the Republic of Serbia, contributing to its reputation and promoting the high standards of our military medicine.
I congratulate you on your professional holiday and am confident that you will continue to achieve notable results, strengthen the capabilities of military healthcare, and contribute to the further development of the defence system of the Republic of Serbia.”
