Newly commissioned officers assume duties in Serbian Armed Forces
The youngest officers, who were on Saturday commissioned as second lieutenants by the decree of the President and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, today assumed their duties in the Serbian Armed Forces.
On that occasion, commands hosted receptions for the young officers, where they were presented with the structures, missions, and tasks of the units they were assigned to, as well as their rights, responsibilities and priorities for the upcoming period.Senior officers congratulated the second lieutenants on the accomplishments and diplomas they had earned, wished them every success in their professional service, and provided them with guidance on how to effectively carry out tasks in their first officer roles.
The youngest officers will now be inducted into their posts, meet their new colleagues, and familiarize themselves with the responsibilities and tasks in their new jobs, where they will have the opportunity to apply and further develop the knowledge acquired at the Military Academy.
