Meeting with Deputy Minister of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina



The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, met today in Belgrade with the Deputy Minister of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Aleksandar Goganović, who is currently in Serbia to attend the commissioning ceremony of cadets of the Military Academy and the Faculty of Medicine of the Military Medical Academy.
The meeting held at the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff focused on the current security situation in the region and opportunities to develop and advance cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the conversation, the two officials agreed that there was room for advancement in bilateral military relations and that efforts towards that goal should be made in the period ahead. General Mojsilović highlighted that the Serbian Armed Forces remain an open and reliable partner, committed to safeguarding regional peace, stability, and mutually beneficial cooperation on an equal basis.  

He stressed that, in the spirit of good neighbourliness, the capabilities of Serbia’s defence system would be available for the training and professional development of personnel of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period ahead, both at military education institutions and in numerous courses offered by specialized training centres of the Serbian Armed Forces.
