Serbian Armed Forces carry out engineering works in Bela Palanka municipality



Personnel from the Serbian Armed Forces are currently engaged in arranging the courtyard of the Monastery of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos and repairing a road section on the outskirts of the village of Veta, in the municipality of Bela Palanka.
   The work is being carried out by an engineering task force from the 310th Engineering Battalion, 3rd Army Brigade, as part of their regular training, on the request of the local government and the Diocese of Niš.
 
Using modern engineering machinery, the personnel is removing vegetation, widening drainage channels, constructing cascades, plateaus and a firebreak, and rebuilding the village road. The works began in late June this year.
 
The Serbian Armed Forces and the municipality of Bela Palanka have successfully implemented several joint projects aimed at improving the living conditions of local residents. Members of the Serbian Armed Forces have once again met with a warm reception and support from the local people, who recognize and highly value their selfless efforts.
   Through activities like this, the Serbian Armed Forces enhance the skills and proficiency of their units and provide support to local communities, thereby demonstrating that they are always at the service of the homeland and the citizens of the Republic of Serbia.
