Minister Gašić sends message of condolence to family of deceased Staff Sergeant Jovanović
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić has sent a message of condolence to the family of the deceased Staff Sergeant Milovan Jovanović, a member of the Second Army Brigade. The message reads:
“It is with profound grief and deep sadness that I received the news of the death of Staff Sergeant Milovan Jovanović, who served with the United Nations peacekeeping operation in Lebanon.
On behalf of all members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, please accept our deepest and most sincere condolences at this most difficult time.
Your family has lost a son, a husband, and a father. The Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces have lost an honourable and loyal non-commissioned officer, a man who died while fulfilling his duty in the service of peace.
I know that no words can ease the pain of such an irreplaceable loss for your family.
The Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces are there for you, ready to provide any form of assistance and support you may need.
May Milovan rest in eternal peace.
