Reconnaissance units’ tactical training
In line with the annual training plan, part of reconnaissance units of the Army are currently conducting training outside their peacetime stations, with the aim of improving personnel readiness and familiarizing themselves with terrain features.
The role of these units is to provide intelligence support to Serbian Armed Forces troops, primarily in the enemy’s depth. Currently, they are rehearsing reconnaissance patrols, as well as ambushes and raids, using multirole combat and special-purpose high-mobility vehicles. The units are also practising the use of UAVs and multirole surveillance devices capable of real-time data processing and transmission, enabling higher command levels to gain accurate insights into the situation on the ground.

The next step is the summer training cycle, during which reconnaissance units will undergo swimming and hand-to-hand combat training, perfect self-protection techniques against cold weapons and firearms, and practice survival skills, including food procurement in the field, crossing water obstacles, and carrying out tactical tasks in various environments.
Reconnaissance training is conducted continuously throughout the year to ensure personnel remain ready at all times to respond swiftly and effectively in any situation. This approach helps maintain a high level of physical and mental fitness, as well as combat readiness for successful execution of the most difficult tasks.
