Defence Minister’s message to Association of Veterans of Security Authorities and Military Police of Serbia on their anniversary
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić sent a message to members of the Association of Veterans of Security Authorities and Military Police of Serbia, congratulating them on their anniversary. The message reads:
“I extend my sincere congratulations to all members of the Association of Veterans of Security Authorities and Military Police of Serbia on the occasion of your Association Day - May 13.
Your many years of loyal and dedicated service have made a lasting contribution to our homeland’s security, honour, and dignity.
As members of the Association, you continue to contribute to the preservation of the highest patriotic values, as well as to unity and social solidarity, though your experience, knowledge, and reputation. Your commitment to supporting fellow veterans and keeping alive the memory of members of security authorities and military police who laid down their lives while carrying out duties in service to the homeland is particularly significant.
Your efforts to preserve traditions of freedom, commemorate important historical events, and pass on experience to younger generations are of great importance to both the defence system and the state as a whole.
In times of new challenges, you remain an example of how responsibility toward one’s country should be demonstrated even after active service, through dedicated work, humanity, and the preservation of national dignity.
The Republic of Serbia deeply appreciates your contribution and remains committed to improving the position of all those who have served it faithfully.
I am confident that you will continue to promote the values you upheld and preserved throughout your service, and I wish you much success, good health, and all the best.”
