Specialized training for military service volunteers

Soldiers who started performing their voluntary military service in early March are currently undergoing specialized training to prepare for their future military duties.
This six-week training phase comes after a month and a half of basic training conducted at Serbian Armed Forces training centres in Sombor, Valjevo, and Leskovac.

During this training phase, taking place at the Training Command’s specialized training centres and within other Serbian Armed Forces units, soldiers are training for their future roles within infantry, artillery, engineer corps, armoured and air defence artillery-missile units, as well as within logistics, telecommunications, and CBRN defence services.
The goal is to teach them the basic knowledge of how to use and maintain weaponry and equipment specific to different branches and services of the Serbian Armed Forces, which is a prerequisite for proceeding to collective training during the final three months of their military service.

The trainees demonstrate a high level of motivation and commitment. Those interested in joining professional military service are offered the opportunity to apply now, so they can go through the required procedure and become eligible to join the ranks of professional members of the Serbian Armed Forces as soon as they complete their voluntary military service.
