Minister Gašić presents decrees promoting and appointing Serbian Armed Forces officers to new positions
Today, Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić presented official decrees issued by the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Aleksandar Vučić, promoting and appointing Serbian Armed Forces officers to new positions. The ceremony was attended by the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović.
Brigadier General Stanisav Mijailović has been promoted to major general and Colonel Darko Đošić to brigadier general.By decree of the President of the Republic, Colonel Dragan Kužet has been appointed as Deputy Commander of the Training Command and Colonel Miodrag Mladenović as Commander of the Mixed Artillery Brigade.
During the ceremony, the Minister of Defence congratulated the officers on their promotions and new appointments, emphasizing that they had demonstrated remarkable effort, professionalism, and loyalty to the homeland, putting the knowledge they had acquired at the service of the homeland. According to him, every step forward they make is not only a personal achievement, but also a testament to the honour and dignity of the uniform they wear. Minister Gašić expressed his confidence that, guided by patriotism, they would continue to carry out all assigned duties with honour and determination.Major General Stanisav Mijailović was born on September 13, 1971, in Leposavić. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1994, completed the Command and Staff Course in 2011, and the General Staff Course in 2017. He serves as Head of the Development and Equipment Department (J-5) of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff.
Brigadier General Darko Đošić was born on October 31, 1980, in Valjevo. He graduated from the Military Academy in 2003 and completed his master’s degree in 2013. He serves as Commander of the Special Purpose Military Police Detachment “Kobre”.Colonel Dragan Kužet was born on February 21, 1978, in Benkovac. He graduated from the Military Academy in 2001, completed the Command and Staff Course in 2013, and the General Staff Course in 2023. Until now, he served as Assistant Commander for Operations at the 72nd Special Operations Brigade.
Colonel Miodrag Mladenović was born on November 24, 1977, in Kriva Palanka. He graduated from the Military Academy in 2000, completed the Command and Staff Course in 2014, and the General Staff Course in 2022. He serves as Commander of the Mixed Artillery Brigade.
