Training of Soldiers on Military Service

Soldiers on military service of the “March 2026” intake, who were assigned to basic training centers in Sombor, Valjevo and Leskovac, underwent their first stationary camp in field conditions.

Soldiers of all specialties undergo this form of practical training in the field at the end of the first phase of training in the Serbian Armed Forces. The goal is to verify and put into action the acquired knowledge and abilities to perform basic defensive and offensive combat tasks, but also for the soldiers to adapt to living and working in field conditions.

 

During their stay at the training grounds of the Serbian Armed Forces, the soldiers practiced tactical actions and procedures, including navigation, observation, camouflage and movement on the battlefield, as well as the selection and creation of shelters for protection and action, and they also did the firing from infantry weapons stipulated by the program.

Upon their return from the field, they will undergo a skills assessment, where they will show how qualified they are for individual tasks, after which they will be sent to specialist training centers to be trained for the duties they were recruited for.
