Bilateral defence consultations with Hungary
Today, a delegation from the Hungarian Ministry of Defence, led by Colonel András György, Chief of the Department for International Cooperation, held bilateral defence talks with a delegation from the International Military Cooperation Department of Serbia’s Ministry of Defence, led by Colonel Zlatko Bogosavljević, head of the department.
The heads of the two international military cooperation departments assessed that strong bilateral relations, combined with intensive political dialogue and high-level meetings, have set a framework for strengthening defence cooperation. During the meeting, the two delegations exchanged views on the regional political and security situation, as well as on other current topics and issues of mutual interest.
Both sides agreed to continue advancing defence cooperation between their ministries and armed forces.On this occasion, the 2026 Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan was signed.
