Units conduct training for execution of MP tasks

Military Police units of the Army are currently conducting intensive training for the execution of military police tasks and general security duties within the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.
Military Police training is a complex, year-round programme conducted in various weather, terrain, and tactical conditions. It is designed to maintain proficiency of professional personnel, further develop the skills of junior soldiers and officers, and maintain the required level of combat readiness.

Currently, units are practising procedures at checkpoints, tactical actions during area searches, securing areas and facilities, and protecting VIPs, with a particular focus on teamwork and the proper exercise of official authority.
To prepare for a wide range of tasks, Military Police personnel undergo firearms, tactical, and military police training based on their commander’s assessment and decision. This training cycle will conclude with final tactical exercises, including live-fire drills.

Equipped with modern domestic and foreign weapons and equipment, and supported by continuous training, high morale, and the dedication of the soldiers and officers, Serbian Armed Forces MP units are fully capable of carrying out their duties and missions in accordance with the law, regulations, and commanders’ orders.
