Minister Gašić visits Prvi Partizan factory in Užice
Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić visited today Prvi Partizan, a joint-stock company based in Užice.
During the visit, General Director Dobrosav Andrić, together with the factory management, briefed the Minister of Defence on the factory’s recent production performance, as well as plans for the further enhancement of its production capacities.After the meeting with the factory management and governing bodies, Minister Gašić toured the production facilities, where he spoke with employees, learning about their working conditions and the organisation of the production process.
On this occasion, Minister Gašić emphasized the importance of Prvi Partizan for the defence system and the Republic of Serbia, underlining the significance of continuous effort to improve working conditions and workplace safety.– People form the foundation of our defence industry. Without qualified, dedicated, and motivated workers, there can be no stable or reliable production. It is, therefore, our duty to make continuous efforts to improve their working conditions and invest in security and the modernisation of production facilities – the Minister of Defence said.
During the tour, Minister Gašić announced that, together with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, he would tour the factory’s production facilities in Užice in the forthcoming period.
