Your path to becoming a pilot – apply to MoD’s competition
The Ministry of Defence invites young people with a bachelor’s degree, who wish to express their devotion to the homeland by serving as military pilots, to apply for the Reserve Officer Course in the Air Force branch.
Young men and women interested in this opportunity may apply by March 31 for the following three specialties within the Air Force - airplane pilot, helicopter pilot, or remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) pilot/operator.Candidates wishing to join the ranks of the Serbian Armed Forces, who meet the general competition requirements, pass medical examinations, psychological assessment, and security clearance procedure, and successfully complete selective flight and parachute training, will be selected for the Reserve Officer Course starting on September 1, 2026.
The top candidates will get the chance to join professional military service, continue their flight training as Air Force officers, and earn the title of pilot.Applicants for the RPA pilot/operator specialty will not undergo selective parachute or flight training.
