4th Army Brigade Day
A military ceremony was held today at the 1st Infantry Regiment of Prince Miloš the Great Barracks in Vranje to mark 4th Army Brigade Day, commemorating January 31, 1878 – the day when the Serbian Army liberated Vranje.
As part of the ceremony, key accomplishments in building operational capabilities were presented to the assembled brigade members and awards and commendations were presented to the most outstanding individuals and units. A display of weapons and military equipment currently in service within the brigade was also mounted.Past year’s accomplishments were summarized, highlighting that the 4th Army Brigade has completed all assigned tasks. It was also emphasized that, thanks to the expertise and dedication of its professional personnel and the acquisition of modern combat systems, the unit has enhanced its operational capabilities and continues to be a pillar and a guarantor of security of citizens in this part of the Republic of Serbia.
The ceremony was attended by Army Commander Major General Zoran Nasković, representatives of the Ministry of Defence, Serbian Armed Forces, Serbian Orthodox Church, and local government, as well as representatives of partner institutions and numerous other guests.
