Intensive training with modern infantry combat systems

In the areas where SAF infantry units are stationed, intensive training of professional personnel is underway to prepare them for effective execution of assigned missions and tasks in operations on the modern battlefield.
The training programme includes practical activities conducted at training areas and using multi-purpose armoured fighting vehicle simulators, multi-rotor combat drones, direct fire support assets, observation and data collection equipment, and a wide range of small arms recently procured for Serbian Armed Forces infantry units.

During this phase, soldiers and officers are practising tactical actions and combat procedures before they proceed to firing practices using infantry weapons during the next phase of the winter training cycle, followed by live-fire tactical exercises.
One of the training objectives is to provide newly recruited soldiers with additional training for their initial roles in infantry units, allowing them to quickly achieve the required standards in marksmanship and tactical proficiency and become fully capable of performing tasks on the battlefield, both independently and as part of a crew or team.

The combat capability of Serbian Armed Forces infantry units – particularly their firepower, manoeuvrability, and force protection - have been significantly strengthened in recent years through the introduction of modern armoured vehicles, drones, new small arms, protective, optoelectronic and other military equipment into service, and through intensified combat training for professional personnel in all weather, terrain and tactical conditions.
