Minister Gašić brings badnjak into Ministry of Defence building to mark Christmas Eve



Today, Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić along with his associates brought a badnjak (oak branch) into the Ministry of Defence building.
The Minister of Defence wished a merry Christmas to all believers who observe Christmas according to the Julian calendar, noting that by bringing the badnjak into our homes, we keep alive a centuries-old tradition and values that bind us together and strengthen us as a nation.

- In the spirit of Christmas, this act reminds us of the importance of togetherness, unity, mutual respect, and the responsibility we have toward our homeland and future generations. May Christmas Eve bring peace, good health, and prosperity to all members of the defence system and their families, and to all citizens of our beautiful Serbia – said Minister Gašić.
During the event, Minister Gašić was joined by Acting Assistant Minister for Human Resources Siniša Radović, Head of the Office of the Minister of Defence, Colonel Nikola Matović, Head of the Public Relations Department, Colonel Dalibor Tomić, and Head of the Department for Operations and Planning of the Secretariat of the Ministry of Defence, Lieutenant Colonel Đorđe Janjić.
