The Republic of Serbia, as a relatively young member of this organization has done much to promote sorts ad physical education in the army and to develop cooperation in the region in terms of sports and in the global level too. Jeftic reminded of several important sports events, which were organized in cooperation with CISM such as the World military marathon competition and the futsal cup jointly with FIFA.
However, the current economic crisis, as Colonel Hamed Kalkaba malboum from Cameroon stressed, had resulted in budget cuts, thus limiting the financial support to military sports events.
He commended SAF on its contribution to CISM in regional and global level, which can be seen in the FIFA organized futsal cup, as a unique contribution to friendship, cooperation and understanding.

Jasa Sekaric was also another distinguished guest to emphasize the importance of sports and to express her pleasure for the opportunity to coach the Military Academy shooting team.

Jeftic feels that it is very important that the members of our army take active participation in regional competitions which are less costly yet are equally important.
