South-Eastern Europe Defence Ministerial (SEDM) meeting held
A delegation from the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, led by Acting Assistant Minister for Defence Policy Predrag Bandić, participated in the South-Eastern Europe Defence Ministerial (SEDM) meeting in Sarajevo.
The meeting discussed the impact of current armed conflicts around the world on regional security, as well as the future of the SEDM Process.As part of this regional initiative, Serbia has successfully performed its two-year role as the lead nation of the project titled the Role of Female Leaders in Security and Defence and handed over the responsibilities to the Republic of Moldova.
The SEDM process is currently chaired by Greece, and in addition to Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina – the country hosting the meeting, the SEDM Process includes the following member states: Italy, Turkey, Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Albania, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, and the United States of America.
